check out the dress up shoes she HAD to wear.
Oh this little miss. How I love her so. She makes me laugh SO hard. She turned three years old on monday and I am in shock. Wasn't she JUST born? Didn't I JUST become a mom? She is a lovely child. Consistently Obedient, very gentle, eats anything, loves to share, chat, has an amazing memory. At three years old she is a genius in my eyes. She has a CRAZY large vocabulary and my favorite words she has been using (correctly might I add) are realized and actually. She sounds like such a little adult. She loves to write and can write the letters A, M, E, P, C, and draw a circle, square, flower, person, rectangle, balloon. She loves anything creative and artistic. She will be entertained for large amounts of time with crayons, markers, play dough, stamps. And puzzles. This girl and her puzzles. She does at least 5 puzzles a day. and she is scary good at them. I am surprised by how she figures them out. She loves to sings songs and is doing so constantly, she loves to use familiar tunes and make up her own words. She can count to 13 but continues to get a little confused after that. She knows the letters and their sounds pretty well and is starting to sound out words in books with me... if she continues on progressing this fast I think she might be reading by her next birthday- say whaaat!
She loves to do "miley school" with me and we work on a letter, numbers, counting etc.
Her newest thing is answering questions she doesn't want to answer with "I don't know" and doing dramatic sighs, lots of arm folding and "hmphhh" ing, so much drama. LOTS of pouting which we are trying to nip in the bud as well as whining. She has a habit of grabbing our faces to talk to us if we aren't paying attention to her since that is what we do to her hhahaha. She has become a little more attached to me recently though I am not sure why and have developed a love of me cuddling her and loves to sit on my lap or cuddle up next to me on the couch which is SO not how she used to be.
Miley is an AWESOME big sister. She loooves to play with Lola and talk to her, sing to her, play with her in her room. I continue to love when she repeats things I say to Lo to her as well. For instance if Lola is crying in the car I talk to her and say "lola I'm right here, you're ok, you're ok" and now any time she cries miley will run up to her and repeat that which is pretty cute. She is very careful with her and loves to give her back her paci or throw out her dirty diapers or just plain get me whatever I need to help the baby. She loves to translate what Lola is telling us such as "not you mama- she wants me- she wants her sister to help her".
Loves cereal, mac n cheese, chicken nuggets, broccoli, treats, chapstick, make up, nail polish. and Princesses. Anything and everything princess. Yeah we are one of those houses where dress up is ALL day long. I think her favorite is Cinderella right now and the other day she stared at the movie box for a long time then told me PRECISELY how I was supposed to fix her hair so it would look exactly like Cinderellas.
She loves going to Church and nursery. Is horrible at finding things (just like her dad) I can tell her "you are standing ON TOP of your book" and she will still not see it. Loves the Park and playing with friends. Doesn't love playing by herself for too long and tries to get me to play everything with her. Is horrible at playing in the back yard alone. She literally just stands outside hahaha I don't know what to do! I give her little tasks and she will do them then run back to check in with me. How do you teach your kids to play outside??
Chores: she is in charge of unloading the Silverware, putting away her own kid dishes, cleaning her room, and throwing out Lola's Diapers.
Struggles with the C and K sounds. and struggles with duh duh DUUUUUH. Being potty trained. This girl... in the Battle for dryness Miley 1 Mom 0. She is the LEAST consistent kid. She was potty trained for a good 3 or 4 months. No accidents, wore underwear all the time, would take herself to the bathroom or would tell us. Ever since Lola was born things have been less than pleasant. It's like she has lost the desire to do ANYTHING. She will take herself to the bathroom most of the time... but then other days she has 3 accidents, or I will just notice her playing at the park with pee pants! She doesn't even stop to tell me she had an accident! IT DRIVES ME NUTS! Then we have to spend forever trying to figure out where she was, if anything got pee on it, what needs to be cleaned up etc. I have tried giving her incentives to stay dry- like tiny ones like candy, stickers, toys- big things like Dry kids get to go to pre-school, dance class, soccer practice etc. She doesn't care. We have tried taking away toys, time outs, Charts. I have another NEW plan that I am trying so we will see how this one works out.
She brings so much happiness to our lives. She is my little side kick and buddy. I miss her when she is sleeping even though sometimes she drives me crazy! I watch her do tiny tasks like dressing herself and putting on her own shoes. wrapping up in a blanket. turning off the Tv and I am completely amazed at her growth and progess. She was just a tiny little baby and now she is this fabulous little girl. I am so grateful that I get to be her mother forever. love this sweet baby girl of mine.

Of course she had to wear those shoes. They match her dress perfectly! I miss her, and I need to meet Lola. Hopefully I can see you soon!
oh I miss her cute little face!! Her and brooklyn would have a blast dressing up together!!
Her and Brinley would get along SO well because she also does the hmffffff pouting and arm folding. It is so dramatic!!
I'm so so jealous of her hair. The toilet training thing sounds like hell on wheels, but other than that, Miley sounds awesome.
Holy crap!!! Your child is a genius! The twins turned three in December ( I know...weren't they just all BABIES!? ) but come on Miley! Seriously, drawing flowers and balloons and counting to 13. It just goes to show that the way they do primary is crazy! There is no reason my girls should be in sunbeams already and she is still in nursery!
She is gorgeous and so is Lola! Miss u guys!
