My baby is like 100 years old...

Ok not really but it seems like it to me. She seriously is SO much fun to have around. She has so so so much personality it kills me. I have no idea what kids her age should be doing so I just sort of do whatever I think she might be capable of... turns out quite a lot. She is 16 months old as of May 28th, still only has 4 teeth and she is ahemmm brilliant in my opinion.

She loves to sit and read books, be chased, watch rapunzel, dress up, LOVES to color and asks repeatedly every day to do so. She likes to cuddle her babies and minnie stuffed animal, brush her own hair, play outside, and flop on to beds. She really enjoys the beach and has very few fears about the waves crashing on her. She goes to bed sometime before 8 and will sleep til 8 and sometimes longer. After our trip to washington last month she is VERY into airplanes and listens/hears them and points them out in the sky as well as birds.

Things she knows
> how to clean up and will sing her own little version of the clean up song I sing to her
> kneel down, fold arms, stay still, repeat a VERY simple prayer
> recognize Minnie, Mickey, Cinderella, Belle, Ariel... and the Beloved Rapunzel
>  recognizes Mommy and daddy in pictures
> things that are off limits- like toilet paper ( she points her little finger and shakes it at stuff saying "No No" in a low voice)
> She practices ALL the time at putting various items of clothes and shoes on
> the difference between "on" and "off" when it comes to clothes
> to take a dirty diaper to the garbage on the deck
> how to dance and twirl with her arms up like a ballerina
> how to "pound it"- (bump fists) and will ask you to do it a million times with the phrase  "pow it" with her little fist out
> high five
> hugs kisses
> can say and point to- eyes, ears, mouth, teeth, nose, eye brows, cheeks, hair, head, legs, feet, toes, belly button
> the following animal sounds  Dog- woof woof, Cat- "mee maa", Duck, Horse- "e e e e" , lion, sheep,
> recognizes other babies
> basic potty training- tells us "poo poo" or "potty" and does a pretty good job but still is far from being out of diapers ( I am loving not really changing poopy diapers anymore, it is SO NICE)
