When we first arrived in Seattle this christmas season we spent time with my parents before they left for Oklahoma to be with my brother's family. My brother Josh and his family came down to celebrate with us and we had a great time, Miley loved playing with her cousins and would just chase them around. She really hadn't seemed too keen on walking every where until she watched her cousin Caleb who is about 4 months older do it. I think she sort of realized oh hey, walking can actually get me places!
We went down to Bellevue and caught most of the "snowflake lane" musical show. It was really crowded but we had a fun time, it was great to participate in some festive activities. We also went to the Bellevue Botanical Garden which was fabulously lit up with christmas lights but I don't have any good pictures of that.
We then came home and decorated gingerbread men, Miley had more fun chomping the g-man then decorating him.
Another day we went and saw santa. I wanted to get the picture but it was something outrageous so I just snapped one of my own after my mom got one with ALL the grandkids. Miley actually didn't mind santa though she looks a little unhappy in this photo.
Miley and her cousins got to ride all of the fun quarter toys at the mall.
I love this picture because it shows Miley-girl with her tongue out. As SOON as we got to washington she got a cold and cough/stuffy nose etc. I think this somehow caused her to have her tongue out ALL the time.
Now if I have been told correctly this little outfit is what I wore on my first christmas! How adorable!
I also got to seem some friends for lunch and go to a fun christmas party. We already miss washington :(
