Washington Trip part 1: Vancouver

Janet and I had a little girls day and drove up to Vancouver, BC. We got quite a kick out of going international together- we acted a bit crazy at times. I couldn't remember what each Canadian coin was worth- we had to use a pay phone to pay the ridiculous parking fees, we walked past this one restaurant like 5 times then finally decided to eat there and the employee called us out on walking by so many times. It was pretty funny. We had a really great time, the weather was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed the city. We also were so awkward at the border because they asked questions like "WHY ARE YOU HERE" uhh because we want to see the city? and "where do you live" which we struggled with because we were coming from Redmond but live in Provo so we both were stumbling through the questions, then they were giving Janet the Spanish Inquisition about who's car we were driving (her dads). We had some great laughs, can't wait to see where we end up next year!
