Food front

As I shoveled down "country vegetable" into Miley's little mouth today I pondered the deep questions of the universe like : "I wonder how long I will have spent spoon feeding infants by the time I am done having babies?"

to be honest my shoulder and arm gets tired by dinner time... you think I would have more stamina built up by now.

Oh did I mention we have the LAZIEST baby around when it comes to food. Most babies want to do it them selves... grab the spoon, grab fistfuls of stuff fling it around. Not our kid, she will watch you eat something then lick her lips a bunch and practically drool over it but then you set it on her tray and she just looks at it and if she really likes it will bend down to try and get it with her mouth. She rarely uses her hands- crazy girl. She only grabs the spoon when she wants to stop eating and refuses to try pinching anything to pick it up. I have gotten her to hold and eat a biter bar or cracker but only the portion outside of her little fist. She will try to eat really big stuff though- like a huge chunk of bread, she just hates the small things aka baby friendly items. She just loves to sit there and open her mouth up. She is our little baby bird.

Oh she's good at licking lids though- I taught her that one.
