Random thoughts

She is getting to be soo much fun!

Love this dude!

I just have some things on my mind that I feel like writing down so hopefully I can clear my brain

1.) Nursing- I am so conflicted over this one... at times I really enjoy it, I think it is convenient and great bonding... the rest of the time I seriously don't feel very thrilled to think of doing this for another 9 months, miley has recently been getting sooo gassy and fighting me every time she nurses but wanting to nurse constantly since it helps her get rid of the current gas. This stinks because she isn't really hungry but she is just gobbling up all my milk so later when she IS hungry I have like nothing and she gets so frustrated. maybe this is too much info. oh well.

2.) my dilemma- so I think part of why she is so gassy is because I don't always burp her, why might you ask? Miley always falls asleep while nursing and if you burp her it is guaranteed that she will NOT go back to sleep for about an hour. So I am torn- do I burp to prevent the gas pain that will come later and sacrifice a sleeping baby, or let her keep sleeping and hope she just won't get the gas later?

3.) I have yet to start exercising. I just seriously don't want to. This is bad.

4.) prune juice is absolutely disgusting. it tastes exactly how it smells- horrible.

5.) I am sad to move out of my ward. I hate how it takes me forever to feel like I really belong and then when I finally do- I move. Always. I have moved every april I have ever lived in provo.

6.) I almost got miley to laugh this week. gosh it was just about the cutest thing ever.

7.) jt now has a sinus infection. seriously??? seriously. Will we ever be healthy again??? it doesnt seem like it- and I am still dealing with some post labor trauma. I am SO over medical problems.

8.) I love hanging out with JT and Miley- they are seriously just the best thing to ever happen to me. I love being a mom- I was contemplating what my most defining moment would be and I have really decided it was when my midwife set miley on my stomach immediately after she was born. The most life altering moment ever. oh I love love love her.

9.) our two year anniversary is coming up? two years?? seriously?? and we have been together for 4 years this july? WHAT?? where did the time go? its crazy because I feel like we just met but at the same time like we have always been together, how does that work out?

10.) we are planning a super awesome vacation for this summer... we just don't know when, where, or what. Any suggestions??

11.) prune juice is seriously SO disgusting.

12.) I am sad that all of our friends are moving away. I am so grateful that JT has kept up his friendships with his high school buddies. I feel like they are now my best friends too! I love all the people they marry too :)

13.) I just watched a "Deadliest Catch" marathon. I LOVE that show!

I felt the same way about nursing. I told myself I had to make it to 6 months, then 9 months. Turns out I am still to lazy to wean him. I think it gets A LOT better when they start eating food and such.

I agree with the first comment. I made it to 6 months and things are great. Once she started solids at 4 months things got so much better. I still feed her about every 3 hrs but she can go much longer if she has to with eating solids. I thought she would hate nursing after tasting things like prunes and sweet potatos, but she is more interested in nursing than ever! Go Brin! Good luck. And don't feel like a bad mom if you do formula. We've tried it, but Brinley hated it. No back up plan for us.

Buuuut nursing definitely helps lose the weight. No working out for me, and I wear allllL of my pre-preggo clothes. I'm a bite loose in my tummy and I think once I start working out my tummy will tighten up.

Go Miley! she is SOOO stinkin cute.

That IS crazy it's been 2 years...it was like yesterday was your bridal shower! Wait, prune juice? Yuck! And yes, nursing gets soooo much easier, and for me it wasn't even solids that made it easier- just a bigger baby who could work through that gas a little better! For me it was better by 2 months and a BREEZE by 3. I'm just so glad I don't have to clean bottles all day and smell stinky formula poo. Blech.
