New years- Viva las vegas style!

For New years this year we drove down to las vegas! We got back from rexburg at like 3 in the morning then slept til 10 then got on the road. We stayed with the salls and newmans and got to see their new house!! It is really great and we can't wait until we can buy a house someday, Rish also got us really scared of water heaters though. For New years eve we went down to the strip and saw lots of drunk people and ended up in a spot where we couldn't see any fireworks but we still had a really fun time!

Alright the final story from las vegas is that one night we parked our car at the newmans to hang out for the night and were planning on sleeping at the salls (where all of our stuff was) but when we got back to our car it had leaked a TON of what looked like oil so we figured we had better take it in to get checked first thing in the morning and slept there. We woke up and started trying to drive it to big O tires to get the oil changed and find the leak. On the way it started making this THUMPINg noise like we were running over wood - we get to BIG O tires and turns out we leaked out all of our transmission fluid and needed two new seals. Everyone was pretty busy that day so we sat at BIG' O all day playing cards while I cried sporadically. Five hours and 600 dollars later we finally were able to shower and change. It sucked.

We also were treated to a UNLV games and had 2nd row floor seats! It was so fun and I loved being able to yell at the players and know they heard me!
