You guuuuuys

Well. It's been a while.... a looooong while. I really still do love blogging. I love those out there who are still blogging! I love it more than instagram and FB. I love hearing my friends thoughts and just a bit more of their Voice and who they really are. You can bet I am still reading along on my "bloglovin'" App. SO here I am back in action trrrrying to get back on board!

A lot of things have changed...

Like we don't live on the East Coast. The opposite actually. What up WEST COAST! JT works for a new company. What up Amazon- Thanks for paying our bills! We live in a BIG house! 4 bedrooms+office -peace out 900 sq ft of overpriced NJ apartment!!

We moved in March back to my home town of Seattle,Washington. I have had very (very, very, very) mixed emotions and still go back and forth on how I am feeling. My parents are a mere 30 mins away which has been awesome. Jt loves his new job and has had fewer migraines than in nj which is definitely a good thing, though he still is struggling with headaches daily.

The kids love being by Grandma and Grandpa as well as some cousins, Miley still asks when summer is going to get here and is "freezing all the time". We love the trees and beauty all around, bears are often seen roaming our neighborhood though so I am pretty terrified ohh we'll say 80% of the time. We are excited for the adventure that has brought us here and are curious to see if this ends up being a permanent home or if the wind will yet again take us elsewhere. (hopefully it's a frugal wind if it decides to pick up and takes us some place super cheap Ha ha!)

I am currently training for Ragnar Race in about 2 weeks, I will run 3 legs with a total of 13.7 miles and a lot of that is up hill. Yikes. I also ran in a race last week and ran a 5k the fastest I ever have- 27:29 so averaging an 8:50 mile. I still can't believe I completed it so fast when I have been running around 10:30 miles at the gym. I still don't enjoy running much and get super bored, thanks to the Kesha pandora station I can survive though. I plan on doing a lot more weight lifting/zumba/yoga once the race is over.

This past month we have done this crazy elimination diet in hopes that if foods were a trigger Jt's headaches might improve. It deserves it's own post because let me tell you. It was something else.

I have to be honest and I do love being by the people here, but I feel like the East Coast has stolen a piece of our hearts. I love the proximity to so many cool places and big Cities there, I love all of the history and that everything has been established for so long. I have gotten quite the travel bug it seems. I would much rather be going on adventures, as we call them, than having fancy cars or buying a dream house. The more we explore, the more I realize what beautiful, marvelous places exist and I wish I could live in them all for 3 months. I loved all the trips we took while back east, they stretched us to the limit financially but looking back now I have ZERO regrets and with how hard life was there they are some of our only happy memories from NJ, so I am glad we made time for them.

Here's to our adventures in the great PNW!

I am in the same boat with my blog. I love to read others and still do, but I have been awful at updating. I am trying to catch up today. So there will be new reading on my blog. Glad you are getting out and exploring the PNW. I know how you feel about living there. It is weird/good/bad/nice to have moved back "home."

Your face in your running pictures! haha! Good for you and those races. I want to try a Ragnar! Running in Florida seems only possible before 6am or only during November-February months. Summer, no way.

I have a lot of things to say to this post:
1. Thanks for being honest about Whole30... everyone acts like it's so fun and easy. Let's get real, it sucks.
2. I love your flower hat in your park selfie.
3. So funny that Miley keeps asking when it's going to be summer... true Florida girl right there.
4. The girls are adorable
5. Soooo happy for you that you guys are near family, have a big house, and AMAZON!!! I'm jealous.

Love you!
