Motherload Mom post

***** Attention contains way to much mom memory info*** there are pictures at the end you can jump to

Miley is pretty much not a baby anymore. It breaks my heart just the tiniest bit. I'm sure it would be a lot harder if she wasn't developing just the best personality ever. She is quite the little chatterbox and leaves me speechless sometimes with the things she says. She is just over 19 months and weighs something like 27lbs and 32? inches... I forget. She's pretty average. I must say we have lucked out, I don't know what we did to deserve such an angel of a child... I am guessing it is to compensate for future children (ahem male) who will probably come down here quite uh crazy if they are anything like the meng or tracy boys. She is extremely obedient and always reminds us to say prayers at meal times and doesn't mind sharing toys and still hasn't really gotten to an agressive/hitting stage.

I don't know if she just isn't very creative or what but she doesn't really get into things or climb on stuff, so far her most mischievous tasks have been unrolling the TP, taking out all of the Dvds and the first morning we were in our new apartment she colored with permanent marker all over the brand new tile and her legs! To her credit though she was coloring on paper she just sort of went off the paper at times. Luckily we were able to get it off the tile after we about had a heart attack.

As of right now she still loves bath time, coloring, "shows/moobies" (which really can be anything she just likes the tv on) Rapunzel, dancing, singing songs, making up songs, reading books, being 1 foot away from me at all times . Seriously whatever she wants to do she just brings to wherever I am and sits at my feet... it makes for lots of messes distributed around the house at the end of the day. She loves other kids but doesn't really play with them just sort of next to them. She is really into playing with some fake cups she has and having us all take pretend drinks from them. She also has started to bring me clothes to put on her that are "pi-yee" (pretty) .

She likes to watch me get ready and wants me to pretend put deodorant and make up on her. While I am curling or straightening my hair she will find her toy brush and go to the mirror in her room and brush her hair, it is toooo cute. She loves all the princesses and her baby dolls. She sings the cleanup song whenever we pick anything up and anytime we fold our arms she thinks we are praying and quickly folds hers.

She is getting pretty good at praying and with promptings remembers the basics of the prayer and has sometimes even added her own items to the things she is thankful for without us telling her- like toys, house, and temple. I think hearing her pray is one of my MOST favorite things of being a mother.

We recently got a book of Mormon for kids that has pictures and she loves reading it! She also tries to sing "Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam" She has started to recognize things that make me frustrated and will start saying "saw-yee" (sorry) when I notice what she is doing.

She has a barbie with a purple dress and she is positive that it is Rapunzel. ( it definitely is christmas caroling barbie)

She speaks SO SO SO well in my opinion. She will try to say anything you say. Unfortunately this includes sayings like "stupid" and a phrase I only ever said to her one time and I was joking around- "no way" and now I hear that one alllll the time.

favorite things to say these days
- when you ask her her name she says "im miley" we think she might think that is her actual name not just Miley
-I found it
-I love it
- I wuh woo ( I love you)
- I see you
- have it ( can I have it?)
- hold you ( will you hold me)
- daddy sleeping ( whenever jt is no where to be found she says this)

-cuddow (cuddle)
-sin ( sing)
- I see it
- he yit? ( hear it)
-bus ( she can recognize it by the sound outside our house)
-darbage ( garbage, she will pick up tiny stuff off the floor and know that is trash and take it to the garbage can)
-sammich ( sandwich)
-chaio (chair)

She is learning most of the colors but really only tries to identify things that are yellow, she sings the beginning of "abc's" and can count to five with a little help, she loves saying "ten" excitedly. She likes to help unload the dishwasher. She recognizes drawings of the letter A, hearts, circles, and stars.

She still loves soda and grapes and tries to sneak into the fridge whenever I open it to grab a grape and was successful a couple of times before I noticed what she was doing, she has also done this with strawberries.

She loves to sing songs and yell at us while on the toliet. She is basically at the same potty training point and I don't think we will try to switch to underwear until she is 2 or something.

funny stories

- at church on sunday I asked if she wanted something then she turned to me and said " I SAID NO" I was in shock hahaha I guess she has heard that phrase someplace before, my bad

- this morning she was having oatmeal for breakfast and started asking me for "ha sauce" ( hot sauce) and I said "hot sauce for oatmeal???" and she started busting up with this really low half real/ half fake laugh and saying "ha sauce soooo funny, ha sauce sooo funny" , I think it was her first joke.

- She is learning to count and one time I was helping her pray and I whispered her to say "thankful for" and she said "Five!!!" it was soo funny... wrong kind of for baby girl.

Very cute. I think you should add a section about how she does not move when you put her in timeout. Funniest thing I've ever seen!
