We recently started Miley on solid foods. JT would like to dispute this- he holds firm with the statement that what we are feeding her is in no way, shape, or form- solid. Anyway- she is liking it pretty well. Its pretty funny to watch, the first time you mix it up the box has you make it super watery... Miley wasn't the biggest fan of the watery stuff, I can't blame her. Very tricky to eat. She is getting better at not pushing it out of her mouth each day and does lots better when its a little thicker. only downside is that she really recognizes the texture difference then, which causes her to slightly gag- which looks pretty funny. Then she opens her mouth for more, gotta love this kid.

Ya, the first feeding is awkward. Halfway through I was like, this isn't solid! We switched to oatmeal cereal because she stopped pooping for like 3 days. She liked the texture more too. We had to completely switch to mixing it with formula. Whenever I had any pumped milk, it would be like dessert oatmeal. Pretty funny. The extra formula helps too!
I can't wait to cuddle her when you come! Referring to your post below about coming to WA... I will watch her whenever! She needs to bond with her Auntie Katie.
