The scariest thing ever

Yesterday I got in a car accident- my first one ever! I got rear-ended while stopped in some traffic and then smashed into a truck. The air bags deployed and I got smashed in the face. I remember hearing screeching behind me then BANG the airbag coming out and smashing me in the face. I also remember there was a lot lot lot lot of screaming on my part... a little embarassing! So after I slammed back into the headrest i grabbed my face and then I just saw umm blood... it was dripping onto my shirt and i couldn't tell what was bleeding. I got out of the car and like tumbled into the center turn lane of the 5 lane road I was on ( looking back probably not my safest decision). I just kept screaming and crying and the guy I hit came and held on to me and set me on the ground. They tried helping me calm down and I did a little... but was still pretty hysterical with crying and bleeding. I eventually realized it was just my nose and mouth bleeding and I got mopped up and checked out by the paramedics. Like 3 cop cars came, a fire truck, and an ambulance. I never really looked at our car but I thought it wasn't too bad- i thought only the hood and back bumper were damaged and I started realizing I really only had a busted lip and bloody nose, So I just kept apologizing for freaking out hahahaha. I filled out a bunch of paperwork with the cops and never even talked to the other people in the accident, I didn't get ANY info - I was so out of it- like how fast the last driver was going, whether her airbags went off, if they were hurt, if she was on the phone- NOTHInG. I eventually had a friend come and take me home and JT started figuring out insurance and rental car stuff. So we now have a nice rental car till we know what will happen. I just iced my face for the rest of the day and then eventually that night my neck which started hurting. We went back today to get JT's clubs from the car which had been towed to a wreck yard body shop and turns out i was wrongo! The car is SOOO damaged, there are like parts on the side of the drivers seat that came apart, things that fell off the seatbelt, a huge dent in the engine from the trucks trailer hitch i think, A huge chunk of the front grill and lights are well... gone, the windshield is cracked all over and the back bumper and trunk are pushed up. Guess I under-estimated. We asked the tow guy who let us in how much it would cost to fix and he just laughed at us and said the car is totaled and to take everything out of it that we want. So I guess we are getting a new car!!! So 1 day later I am doing much better, I am still a little scared to be on the road and I just have some burns on my chin and cheek and nose from the airbag, my lip and nose are a little bruised but the swelling is gone so yay for that! My nose is what hurts the most but luckily it wasn't broke, I didn't move too much because I sit so far up so the airbag basically pinned me where I was as it punched me in the face! Scary times! I took a picture about an hour after, it is key to note that there was blood in my hair and on my hands that i didn't realize! Gross! Sorry no pic of the car on the camera only on the phone!
