Sliding Rock

On one of our days off we decided to go hiking up to this place in Alpine that has a natural rock water slide, you literally have to hike through someones backyard to get there- its a little awkward. It was SO fun, and FREEZing but luckily it was super hot out so as soon as you got out of the water you warmed right up. There was also a little ledge you can jump off maybe 8 feet up into a pool maybe 4 feet deep. It was a really fun day!

Me getting ready to jump with the 10 and 11 year olds boys also at the falls. However, when I got up there it seemed really high and I knew the water was so shallow so I got freaked out and it took me like 15 minutes to decide what to do...


As you can see I finally jumped!! I jumped a little to one side and ended up hitting some rocks but not hard and it was still fun.


Me going down the slide, I had to plug my nose because everytime i went down i went under water at the end, JT and Erica were able to figure it out how to keep their heads above the water but my feet always went straight up!



I just posted this one because!! isn't my husband just the cutest thing ever when he goes to play basketball??
